About Me
In the tapestry of life, every thread tells a story, and it is within these stories that our true desires and purposes are woven. Mine is a tale of enduring aspirations, transformative journeys, and the unwavering quest to fulfill two primal dreams: to be a father and to help others. My adventure began in the halls of academia, where a fascination with the human body led me to pursue a degree in Kinesiology. Envisioning a future where I could empower individuals to achieve their fitness goals, I set my sights on a career as a personal trainer and fitness coach.
Yet, as often happens, life’s path took an unexpected turn. Struggling to make ends meet post-college, I was steered towards the realm of sales on the recommendation of a friend who saw potential in my unique blend of knowledge and interpersonal skills. This pivot introduced me to the world of medical device and equipment sales, where I honed my craft with Fortune 500 companies, learning the intricacies of negotiation, client engagement, and market strategy.
An opportunity to leap into the unknown presented itself when I was invited to join a startup as Head of Marketing and Sales and as a co-founder. The decision to leave a stable job for the turbulent waters of entrepreneurship was daunting, yet an inexplicable force drew me towards this new challenge. It was in the crucible of this startup experience that I truly learned the essence of business. The journey was a roller coaster of emotions, from the depths of fear and stress to the peaks of bliss and pride in our creation. Despite the eventual closure of the business, the lessons learned were invaluable, akin to earning an MBA through real-world experience.
This period of my life was a revelation, opening my eyes to the struggles and triumphs of small business owners. It ignited a passion within me to support and advocate for these intrepid individuals who risk everything in pursuit of their dreams. With renewed purpose, I returned to the corporate world of sales and marketing, armed with a decade’s worth of experience and a burning desire to make a difference.
Throughout these years, two significant milestones marked my journey: becoming a father, fulfilling my childhood dream, and experiencing a profound spiritual awakening. This personal evolution deepened my empathy and fueled my commitment to service, while also awakening an artistic side that longed for expression.
In 2020, a moment of clarity illuminated my path forward. I realized that my accumulated knowledge in business, marketing, and sales could be a beacon for small business owners navigating the complexities of today’s market.
